Availability of Services Plays an Important Role in Community Wellness

Access to services is essential for a healthy, thriving community. Healthcare, counseling, housing assistance, food support and other services help people meet basic needs and reduce stress. When people feel secure and supported, they are better able to focus on work, family, and personal growth and less likely to misuse alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

These services also assist those who face barriers, such as seniors, low-income families, and individuals with disabilities. Beyond individual benefits, strong support systems build connections and strengthen community ties—key ingredients for overall wellness.

It covers many resources across both urban and rural areas. Or you can download a copy of our current resource directory and search for resources. If you need a searchable copy of our resource directory in Excel format, email info@pacecoalition.org.
