April 25th is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
The DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day provides a safe, anonymous, and convenient way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. By participating, individuals help prevent prescription drug misuse, accidental poisonings, and reduce the risk of medications falling into the wrong hands. PACE Coalition is proud to be part of this project along with the support of the Elko County Sheriff’s Office. Together, and with the help of the public, hundreds of pounds of unused medications have been removed from the community and safely disposed of in a zero-emissions incineration facility.
