Dementia Friendly Elko County, a part of Dementia Friendly Nevada, seeks to bring attention to the impact of dementia in our communities, reduce stigma associated with dementia, foster understanding of the rich lives still possible for people living with dementia, and support the needs of people living with dementia and their caregivers. The monthly meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about dementia or to support caregivers and their partners.
