PACE Coalition Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 22 2026
PACE Coalition (“PACE,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to substance use prevention, health, and wellness. We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency about the information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Quick Summary
- We do not sell products or services on this website.
- We may receive donations through this website via PayPal, which is a secure third-party payment processor.
- We use Google Site Kit to connect Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for basic, privacy-conscious site metrics. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.
1) Information We Collect
We collect the minimum necessary information to operate our site, accept donations, and improve communications:
- Information you provide directly:
- Contact details you submit (e.g., name, email, phone) via forms or newsletter signups.
- Donation information (e.g., name, email, donation amount). Payment card data is collected and processed by PayPal; PACE does not store full card numbers.
- Automatically via analytics (Google Site Kit / GA4):
- Event-level site usage (pages visited, clicks, time on page, device/browser type) and coarse location (city/region). GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.
2) How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Operate and secure our website and digital services;
- Communicate with you (e.g., reply to inquiries, send newsletters if you opt in);
- Process and acknowledge donations and provide tax receipts;
- Analyze aggregate website performance to improve content and outreach (using GA4).
We do not sell products, offer paid services, or profile individuals for behavioral advertising.
3) Donations & Payment Processing
When you donate online, your payment is processed by PayPal. PayPal receives the payment details necessary to complete the transaction and is responsible for safeguarding that data under its own privacy and security policies. PACE receives limited donor information (e.g., name, contact details, amount, and purpose of gift) to issue receipts, acknowledge gifts, and maintain donor records consistent with nonprofit best practices.
4) Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking
- Google Analytics 4 via Site Kit. GA4 helps us understand aggregate traffic (what content is useful, device types, general geography). GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.
- Your choices. You can use your browser’s settings to block or delete cookies, install Google’s opt-out add-on for Analytics, or adjust ad personalization in your Google account.
5) When We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate our site and services:
- Service providers/contractors (e.g., website host, email service, payment processors, analytics tools) under agreements that limit their use of your information;
- Legal or safety reasons (e.g., to comply with law or protect rights, safety, or security).
We do not sell your personal information.
6) Your Privacy Rights
Nevada (NRS 603A / SB 220)
Nevada residents may submit a verified request to opt out of the sale of covered information. PACE does not sell personal information. If our practices ever change, we will honor Nevada opt-out requests as required by law. To make a request, contact us at info@pacecoalition.org or write to us at the address below.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
If PACE becomes subject to CCPA/CPRA thresholds, California residents may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We aim to honor these principles of transparency now. Contact us at info@pacecoalition.org to make a request.
7) Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy—for example, to operate the website, maintain donation records for legal and accounting obligations, and fulfill communications you request—after which we securely delete or anonymize it.
8) Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9) Children’s Privacy
Our website and programs are intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at info@pacecoalition.org so we can delete it.
10) Links to Other Sites
Our site may link to third-party websites or services (including our donation processor, PayPal). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
11) International Visitors
If you visit our site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. Google provides details on how it collects and processes data across its services in its Privacy Policy.
12) Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the site after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
