National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week®

Each day, young people are bombarded with information from friends, from advertisers, and from social media. That includes information about alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, vaping, and illicit drugs. So much input can make it hard to separate good information from bad.

Our children want and deserve truthful, accurate information to help them make healthy decisions when faced with choices about substance use. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) recognizes the need to deliver factual information to youth and their parents. One way they deliver that information is through their annual National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week ®."

PACE Coalition is Adding Its Voice

PACE is promoting NIDA's National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® (NDAFW), March 18–24. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for factual information about alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Preventing youth substance misuse in Elko, Ely, and White Pine counties is a continuing effort. By promoting NDAFW we can counteract misinformation and give kids the tools they need to make informed decisions about drugs and alcohol.
